There are eight novels; at one point available through the large publishing companies, they are now all produced in-house with a dedication to creating a quality book.

A Month in the Country is perhaps the best known. Winning the Guardian Fiction Prize in 1980 and short-listed for the Booker in the same year, it has also been filmed with Kenneth Branagh & Colin Firth (see our Special Editions).
Pocket-sized (most are 5" x 3.5") and comprising 16 pages with a firm card cover. These little volumes include works by the great poets, idiosyncratic dictionaries, delightful illustrators and collections of fabled aphorisms.

The Pocket Books hover between a greeting and a present and make a lasting alternative to a birthday card. In cold bedrooms, only one hand need suffer exposure. A distinguished novelist recommends them for reading in the bath and an ambassador claims they can be palmed from the cuff during tedious speeches or profitless sermons.
Architectural, historical, literary and pictorial curiosities designed for framing and to stimulate conversation. Printed on quality card with dimensions around 18" by 24" and in landscape or portrait orientation dependent on county shape.
The Maps are based on pre-1974 county areas, litho-printed in several colours and numbered in limited editions. Not to be used for navigation, except in the broadest of terms.
